You’ve seen that little orangey yellow thing in the sky over the past few days? Yes? Well that’s the sun… and it’s an indication that Spring is on it’s way! That means less clothes, more smiles and more flesh on show. I don’t know about you but Autumn and Winter are months in which my skin is hidden under tights and jeans, it isn’t scrubbed very often, it’s moisturised when I remember to and it’s only tanned for special occasions. However Spring is the time to forget the laziness and prep your skin for it’s big reveal and what better way than with Soap and Glory body scrubs.
Now it’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Soap and Glory and I have a huge stash of their products proudly displayed on my bathroom shelf. However their body scrubs are a favourite of mine, so I thought I would give you a little review on why I enjoy them and which one is the winner for me.
Photo above shows the scrubs on the hand- 1- Breakfast Scrub, 2- Sugar Crush, 3- The Scrub of your Life
Now this product is quite possibly one of my all time favourites. It smells divine and makes me all gooey inside. This product works like a dream, is rich, creamy and intense, yet leaves my skin soft, smooth and silky. All lovers of sweet flavours will instantly fall in love with the scent – filled with maple syrup, oats and honey it smells good enough to eat! The scrub is thick and holds together well, so you don’t loose half of it down the plug hole, meaning you can really work it into your skin.
This is the newest addition to my body scrub collection, and comes in at second place. This scrub has a fruity citrusy smell and as it says in the description is a sugar scrub- the scrub itself is course enough for my liking it’s the smell that puts it in second place. Packed full of limes, lemons and vanilla – It’s fruity smell is the perfect pick me up in the morning, however the Breakfast Scrub’s scent appeals to me a lot more. It still works well and leaves skin smooth and soft.
Coming in at third place is Soap and Glory Scrub of Your Life. This scrub is a less intense scrub and has scrubbing beads for the exfoliation. These scrubbing beads are not as course as the sugar and oats used in the other two scrubs, so I feel like this scrub is suitable for more frequent use. It’s a good scrub for the shower thanks it is ability to work up a really good foam. This is definitely a scrub and go body wash scrub… not one for bath time pampering.
Have you ever tried any of these body scrubs? Which is your favourite Soap and Glory product?
